Erika Karata, who returned after the affair scandal with Japanese married actor Masahiro Higashide, has been cast in an audio drama.
On Feb 1st, Japanese voice subscription service company NUMA released a preview for the audio drama “Beer Fairy” on its official SNS.
The drama tells the story of a woman who is unable to have a proper relationship because she cares too much about her surroundings. She gets a dating coach from a beer fairy who appears while she is drinking beer alone at home. Erika Karata plays Haruka Takagi, who is not good at dating. The drama consists of a total of 5 episodes and will be released sequentially from Feb 1st.
Meanwhile, Erika Karata’s short film “Kiss Me at Dead of Night” is about to be released in June. She is currently filming Netflix’s “The Queen of Villains”.
Erika Karata was discovered to have had an affair with a married actor. She met Masahiro Higashide in 2018, and started to develop into lovers despite him having a wife. At the time of the scandal, Erika Karata was a minor, so everyone was left in deep shock.
