“Culinary Class Wars” boasts unprecedented popularity since “The Glory” and ranks first in buzz

Netflix's variety show "Culinary Class Wars" topped the non-drama buzz rankings for two consecutive weeks, including the fourth week of last month

According to FUNdex released by Good Data Corporation, the show saw a 66.1% increase in buzz points from the previous week, maintaining its popularity.

This is the highest weekly buzz score recorded in Good Data’s non-drama rankings since 2022, with 81,000 points, and it’s the highest figure since Netflix released “The Glory” Part 2 in March last year.

“Culinary Class Wars” is a competitive cooking show featuring fierce competition between various chefs. Notably, culinary researcher Baek Jong-won has been standing out.

Baek Jong-won topped the non-drama cast buzz rankings for two consecutive weeks, with chefs Choi Hyun-seok and Ahn Sung-jae placing 2nd and 3rd, respectively, dominating the top spots.

Additionally, Choi Kang-rok secured the 5th spot, while other chefs like Seonkyoung Longest, Yeo Kyung-rae, Jung Ji-seon, Lee Mi-young, Fabrizio Ferrari and Kang Seung-won also ranked high, showcasing the program’s competitiveness.

In the non-drama buzz category, Coupang Play’s variety show “SNL Korea Season 6” claimed 2nd place, climbing up one spot from 3rd place last week, continuing its growing popularity.

From 3rd to 5th place, ENA/SBS Plus’s “I Am SOLO”, tvN’s “Three Meals a Day: Light” and MBC’s “I Live Alone” captured viewers’ hearts with their unique charms. Notably, singer Lim Young-woong, who appeared on “Three Meals a Day: Light”, ranked 4th in the cast buzz rankings, adding to the show’s buzz.

This ranking, released by Good Data Corporation, analyzed non-drama shows aired or released between September 23rd and 29th, including TV and OTT original non-drama content, as well as the buzz generated by cast members and guests.
