After nearly nine years together, Cristiano Ronaldo has officially proposed to Georgina Rodríguez.
The glamorous model shared the news on Instagram with a photo of a massive diamond ring, captioned: “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.” Experts estimate the 15–37 carat stone is worth millions of dollars, marking a major milestone for the Portuguese football legend.
Before meeting the love of his life, Ronaldo’s dating history was a constant headline-maker, spanning lingerie supermodels, entertainment stars, and even controversial figures.
Early Flames
In 2003, as a young Sporting Lisbon player, Ronaldo dated model Jordana Jardel, sister of teammate Mário Jardel. Two years later, he went public with Portuguese model and TV presenter Merche Romero, a rare long-term romance for his early career that lasted almost two years.

In 2007, he briefly dated British model Gemma Atkinson and was rumored to be close to Indian actress Bipasha Basu, despite her having a boyfriend at the time.
Surrounded by Scandal
That same year, Ronaldo was embroiled in a tabloid storm after reports claimed he partied with escorts Gemma Storey and Tyese Cunningham, alongside teammates Nani and Anderson. The incident resulted in a fine of over $3,000 USD and widespread media coverage.

In 2008, he dated Spanish model Nereida Gallardo, but the romance ended after a few months. By 2009, he was linked to socialite Paris Hilton, whose sex tape had made global headlines. The two were spotted getting close in a nightclub, with paparazzi capturing a wardrobe mishap from Hilton’s ultra-short dress.
In 2010, rumors swirled of a fling with Kim Kardashian during her Madrid holiday, prior to her relationship with Kanye West.
A long-term Love before Georgina

From 2010 to 2015, Ronaldo had a five-year relationship with Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, often appearing together at high-profile events. Fans expected wedding bells, but the couple split in January 2015. Shortly after, Ronaldo was seen with Spanish sports presenter Lucía Villalón, though that relationship quickly ended.
Finding “The One”
In late 2016, Ronaldo met Georgina Rodríguez at a Gucci store in Madrid. From an ordinary sales assistant, she became his steadfast partner, giving birth to two of his biological children and raising his other kids as her own.

Now, from one of football’s most notorious bachelors to a committed fiancé, Ronaldo has entered a new chapter—ready to spend his life with the woman he calls “the love of my life.”
