ENA’s record-breaking drama Crash is officially revving up for a second season. Titled Crash 2: Road of Rage, the new installment is set to air in the second half of 2026, bringing back its core cast alongside fresh new faces for an even more explosive ride.
The original 2024 series earned widespread acclaim for its unique focus on traffic crime investigations, blending high-speed car chases with gripping team dynamics from the Traffic Crime Investigation (T.C.I.) unit. Its thrilling action and genre-driven intensity propelled it to become ENA’s second highest-rated drama of all time.
In Season 2, the Namgangseo Traffic Crime Investigation team will be upgraded into a nationwide task force under the National Investigation Headquarters, tackling larger and more sophisticated traffic-related violent crimes across the country. Viewers can expect an even more adrenaline-fueled investigative spectacle, as the team goes head-to-head with increasingly cunning criminals.
Much of the excitement stems from the reunion of the original production team and lead actors who helped create the Season 1 phenomenon. Director Park Joon Woo, known for his dynamic action style and striking mise-en-scène in works like Crash and Taxi Driver, returns alongside writer Oh Soo Jin, praised for his sharp social commentary and human-centered storytelling. Production will once again be handled by AStory, the powerhouse studio behind major hits such as Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Kingdom, and Signal.
Lee Min Ki reprises his role as Cha Yeon Ho, the meticulous lead investigator whose analytical precision rivals artificial intelligence. Reflecting on the new season, Lee shared that the T.C.I.’s investigative methods will evolve to match the heightened sophistication of modern traffic crimes. “It feels great to meet Yeon Ho again after a while,” he said. “Our teamwork remains strong, and since we’ve all reunited, we’ll do our best to deliver another great series.”
Kwak Sun Young returns as Min So Hee, the relentless detective whose combat skills and tenacity make her a driving force within the team. She expressed her excitement about reconnecting with viewers through Season 2, promising deeper team chemistry and even more intense stories unfolding on the road.
Heo Sung Tae is back as team leader Jung Chae Man, a steady pillar of support still carrying the grief of losing his wife in a hit-and-run incident. He hinted that the upcoming season may further explore unresolved threads from that tragedy, adding emotional depth to the high-stakes action.
Lee Ho Chul reprises his role as Woo Dong Gi, the sharp-minded traffic crime analyst known for his keen observational skills and data expertise. Moon Hee also returns as Eo Hyun Kyung, whose impressive martial arts abilities and information network continue to strengthen the team’s operations.
A notable addition to the cast is NCT’s Jisung, who joins Season 2 as Ji Dae Se, a rookie officer in the Namgangseo Police traffic division who looks up to the T.C.I. unit. Marking a new acting challenge, Jisung shared his determination to leave a strong impression and learn from the experienced cast and crew.
With its expanded scale, evolved crimes, and reinforced team synergy, Crash 2 promises to deliver another pulse-pounding chapter when it premieres as part of ENA’s Monday-Tuesday lineup in the latter half of 2026.
