On July 15, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that CORTIS member Keonho sustained fractures around the little fingers on both hands after falling and landing awkwardly on his arms. Following a thorough hospital examination, doctors confirmed the injuries and advised him to limit movement while recovering.

According to BIGHIT MUSIC, Keonho received immediate medical treatment after the accident and is recovering steadily. However, medical staff have instructed the CORTIS member to wear casts and braces while avoiding excessive movement in both arms to ensure the fractures heal properly. The agency emphasized that the artist’s health will remain its top priority, adding that his schedule will be adjusted based on the advice of medical professionals.

The injury comes just days before 2026 CORTIS TOUR IN INCHEON, scheduled for July 18 and 19. The two-night event marks CORTIS’ first solo concert tour since debuting in 2025, making the timing especially unfortunate for both the group and fans. Although Keonho is expected to participate, his stage activities will be limited to avoid aggravating the injury.
Following the agency’s announcement, Keonho personally addressed fans, apologizing for worrying them ahead of one of the group’s biggest milestones. He shared that he had hoped to perform every stage alongside his fellow members but would only participate within safe limits while focusing on his recovery. The idol also promised to prioritize treatment so he could return in the best possible condition.

Keonho is widely recognized as one of CORTIS’ standout performers thanks to his energetic stage presence, expressive facial expressions, and ability to execute powerful choreography. Because the group’s performances rely heavily on synchronized movements involving the arms and upper body, many fans expressed disappointment that he may be unable to perform at full capacity during the concerts.
Born Ahn Geon Ho on February 14, 2009, Keonho is the youngest member of CORTIS. Before entering the entertainment industry, he trained as a semi-professional swimmer and originally planned to pursue a career in sports. His path changed in 2021, when he was scouted by BIGHIT MUSIC while in elementary school because of his striking visuals. He later became a trainee, focusing on singing, dancing, and performance, while also developing skills behind the camera.

Keonho officially debuted with CORTIS on August 18, 2025. The five-member group—consisting of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho—is BIGHIT MUSIC’s first boy group since TXT debuted nearly six years earlier.
Marketed as a “Young Creator Crew,” the members participate not only in performing but also in songwriting, choreography, production, and creative direction. Keonho has contributed to filming, video editing, and content planning for the group.
Despite his creative involvement, it is his visuals that have made him one of the group’s most recognizable members. Keonho’s popularity has grown alongside CORTIS’ rapid rise. The group’s debut EP reached the top 20 of the Billboard 200, while songs such as “What You Want” and “GO!” helped establish CORTIS as one of K-pop’s most promising rookie acts.
