CORTIS is rapidly becoming one of the biggest breakout acts of 2026 after achieving astonishing first-week album sales with their latest comeback.

According to Hanteo Chart on May 11, CORTIS’ second mini album GREENGREEN sold a massive 2,313,291 copies during its first week of release from May 4 to May 10, officially topping the weekly album chart.

The achievement marks an extraordinary leap compared to the group’s debut mini album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, which recorded approximately 436,000 first-week sales in September last year. In less than a year since debut, the rookie group increased its sales by more than five times.

Even more impressively, GREENGREEN currently holds the second-highest first-week sales record among all K-pop releases in 2026, trailing only BTS’s fifth full album ARIRANG, which reportedly surpassed 4.17 million copies earlier this year.

CORTIS also demonstrated explosive momentum immediately after release. The album sold more than 1.2 million copies on its very first day, instantly becoming a million-seller before surpassing two million copies only four days later.

The group’s title track “REDRED” is also experiencing strong international success.

On Spotify, CORTIS became the first K-pop boy group that debuted within the last five years to enter the platform’s Daily Top Songs Global chart. The song has reportedly remained on the chart for 18 consecutive days while also charting on the Weekly Top Songs Global ranking for two straight weeks.

The group’s monthly Spotify listeners also surged by over 40% within a single month, surpassing 10.32 million listeners. According to reports, that places CORTIS among the top five K-pop boy groups globally alongside artists such as Tomorrow X Together and ENHYPEN.

Domestically, the group is also seeing major growth. “REDRED” recently climbed to No. 2 on Melon’s Top 100 chart, marking the highest Korean digital chart performance of the group’s career so far.

CORTIS plans to continue momentum through additional promotional content. On May 11 at 9 p.m. KST, the group will release the music video for album track “ACAI” through the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel.

The song has already attracted attention because all members participated in writing and composing it. Using an açaí bowl as its central theme, the track reportedly delivers a playful message about wanting to become “people with real substance.”

CORTIS debuted under BIGHIT MUSIC in August last year, joining the same label home as BTS and TXT. Despite being active for less than a year, the group is already showing signs of becoming one of HYBE’s next major global success stories.
