Controversial Quiz Show Criticized For Asking BIGBANG’s Daesung Not-Controversial-Enough Questions

On February 7th, the YouTube channel “Psick Univ” announced that BIGBANG’s Daesung would appear on its show “Narak Quiz Show,” a show popular for asking guests extremely sensitive questions.

In anticipation of Daesung’s appearance, Internet users left comments expecting controversial questions such as, “Because of who BIGBANG won’t have a reunion?”

Subsequently, various questions were made towards Daesung in the latest episode of the “Narak Quiz Show,” which was released on the 10th. In the beginning, the show asked him to provide the Chinese characters of the four-character idiom that G-Dragon used on his social media account, allowing him to directly call G-Dragon.

It also indirectly reminded Daesung of Seungri by asking which country would be good to release GD’s next album, Cambodia or North Korea. Recently, Seungri became controversial as heparticipated in an event in Cambodia and said, “I will bring G-Dragon to Cambodia.” He was also criticized for dancing to GD X Taeyang’s “GOOD BOY” at the event. In addition, questions about celebrities who served in the military with Daesung were also made, and finally, Daesung was asked to list the artists with the least contribution to YG Entertainment’s success.

However, Internet users complained in the comments, saying, “The question is too mild,” “I expected more sensitive questions,” “It’s more boring than I thought.” Criticism also intensified as 2NE1 was mentioned while direct mention of BIGBANG was avoided. Netizens continued to leave comments saying, “The production team crossed the line.”
