“Confidential Assignment 2” Hyun Bin: “Appearing on part 3? Won’t hesitate to accept if working with the same cast”
Actor Hyun Bin of the movie “Confidential Assignment 2: International” (directed by Lee Seok-hoon) thanked the audience for the movie’s success.
“Confidential Assignment 2,” which was released on September 7, has attracted 6.34 million viewers until Oct 7th.
Regarding the box office success of “Confidential Assignment 2”, which is heading toward 7 million viewers, Hyun Bin said, “It was a great moment for me to meet the audience at the cinema again after a long time. I would like to thank the audience once again for loving ‘Confidential Assignment’ so that we can have a sequel, and for not forgetting it and visiting the cinema,” he said.
When asked what his most memorable scene was, Hyun Bin said, “The last cookie video of the movie was memorable to me. I heard that the scene was loved by the audience a lot, but personally, I remember having fun filming it because it seemed to show the changed appearance of Cheol-ryeong in ‘Confidential Assignment 2: International’.”
When asked, “Will you participate if there is a ‘Confidential Assignment 3’?” he replied, “If all the actors of ‘Confidential Assignment 2’ appear, I will accept without hesitation.”
As for his next movie plan, “We are about to release the movie ‘Negotiation’ and I am filming the movie ‘Harbin’. I’m looking forward to meeting the audience again as soon as possible,” he said.
Hyun Bin then expressed his joy after being able to meet the audience during Chuseok after the pandemic, saying, “I felt overwhelmed to meet the audience at the cinema again after a long time, and I realized again that it was the audience who complete the movie.”
“I think we all need support from the audience for the works that are waiting to be released in such difficult times. Like how you have loved this movie, I would like to ask for your interest and support for Korean movies that are about to be released.”
