“Family”, the 4th work in which Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra star together, recorded a national viewership rating of 4.9% (based on Nielsen Korea).
tvN’s drama “Family”, which first aired on April 17th, recorded a national viewership rating of 4.9%, ranking second among Monday-Tuesday dramas. KBS2’s drama “Oasis” (starring Jang Dong Yoon and Seol In Ah) ranked first, and SBS’ drama “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” (starring Shin Ye Eun, Ryeoun, Kang Hoon and Jung Gun Joo) ranked third with 6.8% and 3.7%, respectively.
tvN’s drama “Family” is the fourth work in which actors Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra work together, following “Successful Story of a Bright Girl (2002)”, “You Are My Destiny (2014)” and “Drama Festival – Old Farewell (2014)”.
The K-drama is also Jang Na Ra‘s first return to the small screen after getting married last year. Regarding her feelings, Jang Na Ra said, “I didn’t even worry about it because I got to work with Jang Hyuk and Lee Soon Jae.”
“Family” tells the story of Kwon Do Hoon (Jang Hyuk), a NIS black agent husband who disguises himself as an ordinary office worker, and Kang Yoo Ra (Jang Na Ra), a sweet and fierce wife who dreams of a perfect family. Aside from Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra, actors Lee Soon Jae, Chae Jung An and Kim Nam Hee also joined the cast.
