
Circle Chart Music Awards 2022 winners: BTS won 5 awards, BLACKPINK with 4 awards and Lim Young Woung got 3 trophies
BTS was honored with the most awards at Circle Chart Music Awards 2022.
At the 12th Circle Chart Music Awards held at KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park on February 18th, BTS was named 5 times as the winner of Artist of the Year – Global Digital Music in June, Artist of the Year – Physical Album in the 3rd Quarter, Retail Album of the Year, Social Hot Star of the Year, and Idolplus Global Artist.

BTS once again proved their global influence by topping various digital and album charts with their anthology album “Proof” and title song “Yet To Come” last year.

BLACKPINK won 4 trophies, including Artist of the Year – Global Digital Music in August and September, Female Group of the Year, and MuBeat Global Choice (Female). BLACKPINK became a ‘double million seller’ with their second full album “BORN PINK” released last year and swept various major music charts with their hit songs “Shut Down” and “Pink Venom”.

In addition, (G)I-DLE gained recognition for their musicality by winning Record Production of the Year. New Artist of the Year was awarded to NewJeans (digital music) and IVE (physical album).
Lim Young Woong was given three trophies for Male Solo Artist of the Year, Music Steady Seller of the Year and MuBeat Global Choice (Male).

Meanwhile, Circle Chart Music Awards (formerly Gaon Chart Music Awards) is an award ceremony hosted by Circle Chart with the participation of the Korea Music Content Association and SPOTV.
