Chungha, who expressed dissatisfaction with her agency, revealed big news?

There was a report that Chungha has entered the free agency market without renewing her contract with her current company.

On January 30th, news of Chungha leaving MNH Entertainment started to spread. Regarding this information, MNH revealed its position to Wikitree, saying, “We are currently checking the situation.”

Meanwhile, it was said that Chungha will begin a new journey starting March 2023, after her contract with MNH Entertainment expires.

An official hinted to the media, “Currently, nothing has been decided yet. It is unknown whether Chungha will find a new agency after contract expiration or prepare to form her own company.”

On the other hand, Chungha debuted as a member of the girl group I.O.I through Mnet’s survival program “Produce 101” in 2016. After the group’s disbandment, she has been active as a soloist and has grown into a representative singer of MNH Entertainment.

Under MNH Entertainment, a small agency, Chungha released numerous hit songs such as “Why Don’t You Know”, “Roller Coaster”, “Gotta Go”, and “Snapping”, drawing huge attention and receiving a lot of love.

However, back in August 2022, Chungha expressed dissatisfaction with the company in a live broadcast, saying that she wanted to do a world tour.

At the time, when a fan asked if she wanted to leave the company, Chungha said, “I want to leave”, but then added, “Can I say this? I take that back”, and the video was deleted.
