Chungha Read Tearful Letter To Lee Hyo-ri, “Thank You For Becoming My Comfort While I Was Living Abroad”
Singer Chung Ha shed tears as she confessed her fanhood to Lee Hyo-ri.
The latest episode of KBS 2TV’s music program “The Seasons-Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet,” which aired on March 15th, featured solo singer Chungha as a guest.
In this episode, Chungha said, “I bought Lee Hyo-ri’s albums, from her 3rd to 6th albums, when I was young,” drawing cheers from the audience. Lee Hyo-ri was surprised and said, “You were at the age of wanting to do other things with your allowance, but you bought my album?” and Chungha expressed her fan sentiment, saying, “You were enough to me.”
“I wrote a letter for the first time as a fan who really likes someone,” she said. The singer proceeded to read the letter she wrote to express her gratitude, saying, “Your music and various activities were great laughter and comfort when I felt lonely and vague while living abroad in my childhood.”
When reading the letter to Lee, Chungha shed tears, “I think I’m here living my dream because of you. I was so thankful that I cried.” Lee Hyo-ri teased, “Shouldn’t I be the one who cries?” but was moved by Chungha’s sincerity, saying, “Thank you.”
