Choi Ye-na Apologizes To Jang Do-yeon For Speaking Informally To Her, “I Thought She Was Another Do-yeon”

Choi Yena appeared as a guest on the January 23rd broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope”.

That day, the DJ asked, “If you had to go traveling with one person, who would you choose, introvert Jang Do-yeon or extrovert Kwon Eun-bi?”, Choi Yena replied picked Kwon Eun-bi. She explained, “Eunbi unnie prepares everything very carefully. If you go to a deserted island with her, you don’t need to bring anything. She carries a hotel already.”

Regarding Jang Do-yeon, who appeared on “High School Mystery Club 3” with her, Choi Yena said, “There’s one thing I want to apologize. Do-yeon unnie went to Japan and saw my picture on an electronic display so she took a picture and sent it to me. I thought it was another Do-yeon unnie that I’m very close to. I chat with the other Do-yeon unnie very often and we talk informally”.

Choi Yena continued, “I don’t often contact Jang Do-yeon unnie so I thought the message was from the other Do-yeon, so I replied in an informal way. Later when I found out that it was actually Jang Do-yeon unnie, I immediately apologized to her, saying ‘I thought you were the Do-yeon unnie that I’m close to’. Then she replied, ‘Am I not close to you?’”, making everyone burst into laughter.

DJ Kim Shin-young commented, “If Jang Do-yeon made such a comment, that means you guys are close to each other”. Choi Yena added, “I didn’t mean to speak informally. Of course, I’m close to her and I want to hang out with her sometimes. But the expression was wrong. I like you so much”, showing her affection for Jang Do-yeon.
