Actor Choi Woo Sik will continue to appear in the new “Kitchen Series” show produced by PD Na Young Seok.
According to officials in the entertainment industry on November 5th, Choi Woo Sik is adjusting his last-minute schedule to appear in the new “Kitchen Series”. The news of Choi Woo Sik reviewing the joining of the cast for the new season, following other actors, such as Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, and Park Seo Joon, is raising fans’ expectations.
Choi Woo Sik is not a cast member of “Youn’s Kitchen” but he joined “Youn’s Stay”. Since it was difficult to carry out the overseas filming of “Youn’s Kitchen” series due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the production team turned to film “Youn’s Stay” Korea with the participation of Choi Woo Sik as a new member.
“Kitchen Series” will head overseas again after the end of the pandemic. As soon as the production plan was reported, the names of “Youn’s Kitchen” members, such as Lee Seo jin, Jung Yoo Mi and Park Seo Joon” were mentioned, and Choi Woo Sik of “Youn’s Stay” is also expected to be with them on this journey.
Choi Woo Sik, who is currently filming Netflix’s new original series “Murder DIEary”, is adjusting his schedule to participate in the “Kitchen Series”. In this regard, the actor’s agency Management SOOP said, “It is true that the actor received an offer to join the program. We are discussing it since he is currently filming a work.”
Not only Choi Woo Sik, but actors who are the original cast members of the series, such as Park Seo Joon, are also coordinating their schedules. It is known that all the cast members are showing their strong will to join the show although they will have to carry out a tight schedule with drama/movie shootings and overseas filmings at the same time.
The new season of “Kitchen Series” will be filmed this year with the aim to air the first broadcast in the first quarter of 2023. Together with PD Na Young Seok, PD Jang Eun Jung of “Korean Hostel in Spain” will also direct the show. The program is expected to air at 9 p.m on Friday.
