Emphasizing that Kim Go-eun worked very hard to portray a shaman despite being a Christian, the actor said, “It’s not easy for an actress to play a shaman character. I saw her process of learning the character, technically and emotionally, after making the decision to do it, and she did it very well. She was very immersed in the character, even during rehearsals”. He added, “What makes me feel proud about Kim Go-eun is her courage and sincerity when playing the shaman role. I’m looking forward to her future”.

Working with Lee Do-hyun for the first time through this project, Choi Min-sik commented, “It was unfamiliar at first. However, he approached me so warmly that we were able to create good chemistry from the beginning”, adding “When there’s a friend who gives you a strange feeling, it may be tired to get close to them. However, Lee Do-hyun was very professional. He acted very well. When Do-hyun hit the drums and performed the exorcism, my heart beat fast and I felt excited”.

Revealing that he played the role of an assistant director on the set because of director Jang Jae-hyun, the actor shared, “In this job, a lot of people meet and team up to create a movie. I was willing to complete everything Jang Jae-hyun wanted to do”.

The occult film “Exhuma”, which depicts the bizarre incident involving a geomancer, an undertaker, and shamans who perform mysterious rituals after receiving a large sum of money to dig up a grave, is available in all theaters.
