On December 21, Choi Jun Hee, daughter of the late actress Choi Jin Sil, shared a shocking revelation about her past health condition before her dramatic weight loss transformation.
In a recent social media post, she confessed that her excessive weight gain had severely impacted her health, sharing a photo of her legs as visual evidence. “I was so overweight for my height that my skin tore apart, and lymphatic fluid would leak through my sweat glands,” she wrote, shedding light on the physical toll she endured.
She added, “Do people still say ‘gain a little weight for your health’? There was a time I lived like that, but would I ever want to go back? I’m happy being skinny now.”

Choi also described the extent of her suffering: “Toxins, body fat, blood pressure over 200, a compressed thyroid… I felt like my hip joints would shatter because of my weight. Losing weight saved my life,” she stated.
Previously, Choi Jun Hee battled lupus, a rare and difficult autoimmune disease. The steroid treatment she underwent caused significant weight gain, with her weight peaking at 96 kg. However, she made headlines after losing over half her body weight, dropping to 41 kg, and adopting a “bone-thin” figure that sparked widespread attention.
Now working as an influencer, Choi Jun Hee continues to share her journey and advocate for her version of health and self-empowerment, reflecting on the past as a powerful reminder of how far she has come.
