Cho Yeo-jeong Returns To Cannes After 5 Years With “Tarot”, Looking Fancy On Pink Carpet

On April 10th, LG Uplus STUDIO X+U announced the completion of the official screening of “Tarot”, which was invited to the Cannes International Series Festival (Canneseries) for the first time, and released a photo of Cho Yeo-jeong attending the pink carpet event.

“Tarot” is the first Korean drama to be invited to the Short Series Competition section of the Canneseries, which marks its 7th anniversary this year, attracting keen attention from global media outlets and audiences. In particular, actress Cho Yeo-jeong made headlines as she reappeared at Cannes five years after entering the event with the 2019 film “Parasite”.

Attending Canneseries to introduce “Tarot” in person, Cho Yeo-jeong began her official schedule by making a photocall appearance and having an interview with global media outlets on the morning of April 9th (local time). Amid global viewers’ enthusiastic responses, the episode called “Santa’s Visit” starring Cho Yeo-jeong of “Tarot” was released for the first time.

After the screening, the viewers applauded and expressed high satisfaction with the extreme thrills and mysterious story of “Tarot” as well as the acting performance of the female lead Cho Yeo-jeong.

Revealing her feelings after entering Cannes again after five years and finishing her official schedule there, Cho Yeo-jeong said, “With ‘Tarot’, I feel so proud and happy that K-content was finally invited to the Cannes International Series Festival”, adding “I received a script that I really liked and enjoyed. I’m glad it achieved good results and became an opportunity to promote Korean dramas”.

Meanwhile, “Tarot” is an omnibus series about the brutal fate of being trapped in the curse of a twisted tarot card at the moment when you have to make a choice. The drama consists of seven episodes with different charms.
