According to foreign media outlet SETN, the influencer from Shaanxi Province, China, passed away on March 9 after experiencing a sudden headache and neck pain during a broadcast. The influencer had been hosting a live stream selling women’s clothing when she suddenly began showing signs of distress.

In footage that later circulated online, she was seen holding her head and telling viewers that she wasn’t feeling well. After briefly stepping away from the camera, she returned and appeared increasingly uncomfortable, touching the back of her head and struggling to continue.

As her condition worsened, she reportedly told people nearby: “Please call 120 quickly. I feel like I’m going to collapse.” Emergency responders arrived and attempted CPR, but the influencer died about 11 minutes after the symptoms first appeared.

The tragic incident sparked widespread discussion online. Many netizens pointed out that the influencer was known for extremely long livestream sessions, sometimes lasting over 10 hours. Some viewers speculated that irregular working hours, lack of sleep, and accumulated physical fatigue may have contributed to her condition.

Others also criticized the situation after reports suggested she had suffered from headaches previously but refused medical treatment, which some believe may have resulted in a brain hemorrhage. The incident has triggered an outpouring of shock and sympathy from Chinese netizens.

Comments included:

  • “Why did she push herself so hard?”
  • “Health should always come first. Rest in peace.”
  • “People don’t only die of old age, anything can happen.”
  • “Those who stay up late doing livestreams are at higher risk of stroke or heart disease.”

The tragic case has once again raised concerns about the intense workload and health risks faced by livestream influencers, especially those who work long hours under high pressure.
