Celebrities who went to IU’s concert: A lineup that is hotter than an award ceremony

Various celebrities have shown support for IU. 

On September 17 and 18, IU’s concert “The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun” was held at the Olympic Main Stadium, Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul.

At the concert hall on these two days, not only fans but also celebrities were part of the audience. Aside from IU’s close co-workers and celebrity friends, stars who are known to be her fans, also went to the concert to enjoy her performances.

Lee Joon Gi, Kang Han Na, and Woo Hee Jin, IU’s co-stars in SBS’s drama “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” posted photos of them at the concert. Lee Joo Young, who worked with IU in the movie “Broker”, Kang Mina, whom IU met through tvN’s drama “Hotel Del Luna”, and Kim Soo Hyun, who appeared together with IU in KBS 2TV’s drama “Dream High”, also attended IU’s concert.

In addition, BTS’s J-Hope and Jungkook, TWICE’s Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Kara’s Kang Jiyoung, T-ara’s Jiyeon, TXT’s Soobin and Beomgyu, musical actors Ock Joohyun and Kim Hoyoung, singer Rothy, Golden Child’s Joo Chan, actors Song Seung Hun and Yoo In Na, comedian Kim Young Chul, also came to the concert to cheer for IU.

All these celebrities enjoyed IU’s concert as much as real fans. From those who shared photos at the concert on their SNS, to those who were spotted by fans in the concert hall, the appearance of stars having fun at IU’s concert with lightsticks in their hands drew keen attention.

In celebration of her 14th debut anniversary, IU held her first solo concert in three years at the Olympic main stadium in Jamsil Sports Complex on September 17-18. She is the first Korean female singer to hold a concert at the Olympic Stadium.
