According to Al-Riyadhiah (Saudi Arabia), the Brazilian midfielder is interested in joining Al Ittihad, where his former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema has reportedly encouraged the club to pursue him.

This is not the first time Casemiro has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. Earlier rumors suggested a possible reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.

However, Manchester United are unlikely to sanction a departure unless they secure a proper replacement before the window shuts. Recently, the Red Devils have shown strong interest in Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, but the Premier League club has made it clear they have no plans to sell, stalling any potential deal.

Casemiro joined United in August 2022 for £60 million plus £10 million in add-ons. In his debut season, he was pivotal, helping the club lift the League Cup. Yet, his form has dipped recently, fueling speculation about a possible exit from Old Trafford.

Despite the transfer rumors, Casemiro projected confidence during a pre-season interview with Sky Sports, boldly stating: “Of course, Manchester United will win the Premier League in 2025/26.”
