BTS’s V infected with COVID-19, following Suga, RM, Jin, and Jimin

BTS’s V has been confirmed to have COVID-19.

On February 15th, Big Hit Music, the group’s agency, said through their fan community, “V had mild sore throat symptoms, so he visited the hospital during the day and had a PCR test, and was confirmed with COVID-19 this night.”

The agency explained, “V has had the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination and currently has no symptoms other than mild fever and mild sore throat, and is waiting for guidance from the quarantine authorities while treating his infection at home.”

Regarding V’s contact with other members, the agency said, “There was contact between V and other members on February 12th (Saturday), but all of them were wearing masks and there was no close contact,” adding, “The BTS members currently have no special symptoms, and all of them have been tested negative with the COVID-19 self-testing kit.”

Earlier, BTS members Suga, RM, Jin, and Jimin were confirmed to have COVID-19 and treated.

BTS is preparing for the release of its new album and an offline concert in Seoul next month.
