BTS’s Suga “I cried while performing ‘I NEED U’, I thought that was going to be our last album”

BTS’s Suga revealed that he cried while performing “I NEED U”

On Oct 30th, a video titled “[SUCHWITA] EP.20 SUGA with Taemin” was posted on the YouTube channel “BANGTANTV”.

In the video, Suga asked Taemin, “Are there any performances BTS did that you remember?” Taemin replied, “For me it’s ‘I NEED U’. We had this quench. We really missed seeing artists be serious and ambitious about performing. BTS was that group.”

Suga confessed, “I say this now, but I really thought that was going to be our last album. I thought we were done. I cried so much after the pre-recording of ‘M Countdown’. I cried while performing. ‘So this is our last album…’” Hearing this, Jimin, who also appeared on the show, added, “I cried so much, too.” Taemin said, “It’s because of that process that the BTS of today is here.“

Suga shared, “We’re living in reality, in 2023, but we always talk about the past when we had such a hard time. Talking to the members about the past is the most fun. Whenever we shoot our own content, we end up just talking about the past. We’re waiting for the complete regroup. Gathering together in 2025.” Jimin agreed, “We’re desperately waiting for that. We really want to promote together.”
