BTS’s Butter stays at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 for the 2nd week in a row

Fans are extremely excited about this achievement of BTS.  Will Butter be able to surpass the previous achievement that Dynamite set on Billboard Hot 100?

On the morning of June 8, BTS fans were extremely excited to receive the news that Butter was still at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the group’s second consecutive week on this prestigious chart.

For the week ending June 3, “Butter” received 19.1 million online streams and 140,200 downloads in the United States, respectively, down 41 and 42% from the previous week. In the week ending June 6, the song received 22.4 million radio impressions, a 24% increase.

This week’s sales include the “Hotter” remix released on May 28.  The “Cooler” and “Sweeter” remixes, which were released on June 4, will be reflected on the Hot 100 next week.

This is BTS’ second song after “Dynamite” to top the Hot 100 chart for weeks in a row.  “Dynamite” was at the top of the charts for 3 weeks, with 2 weeks debuting at #1. Can “Butter” break the above achievement that Dynamite had established?

In addition, Butter also topped the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global excl. U.S charts.
