BTS will have an interesting partnership with McDonald’s

Are you ready for a McDonald’s special BTS combo that will be available soon?

Yesterday (April 19), BTS suddenly announced a collaboration with famous fast-food brand McDonald’s.  Accordingly, this May, McDonald’s will launch ‘The BTS Set’ – a special combo named BTS at many stores around the world.  This unannounced collaboration is making not only fans but also Korean netizens extremely excited.

Accordingly, on April 19, the official Twitter account of McDonald’s posted a teaser image promoting the cooperation with BTS.  In the photo are exactly 7 pieces of potato chips arranged in the shape of BTS’s logo.  

In addition, the McDonald’s Twitter account name cleverly added a small ‘7’ number and the Twitter profile description was changed to a purple heart shape – all of which are characteristic signs related to BTS. 

BTS truly lights up the world stage, uniting people across the globe through their music. We’re excited to bring customers even closer to their beloved band in a way only McDonald’s can – through our delicious food – when we introduce the BTS signature order on our menu next month.

Confirming this collaboration, BigHit Music said: “The band has great memories with McDonald’s. We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world”

So why did the debut of ‘The BTS Set’ get so much attention?  In fact, before BTS, other celebrities have partnered with McDonald’s to launch signature meals. However, they are open to limited sales in certain countries.

For BTS, they are the first celebrities that the signature portion of the group will reach globally.  Yes, for the first time in the history of signature meals featuring celebrities, McDonald’s has a set that is widely available for sale in nearly 50 countries around the world.

The delicious order includes 10-piece chicken McNuggets, medium World Famous fries, a medium drink, and sweet chili and cajun dipping sauces inspired by recipes from McDonald’s South Korea.

The collaboration between BTS and McDonald’s has quickly become a hot topic.  Many Knets said whether they are fans or not, they still want to try this ‘The BTS Set’ meal.  In addition, the way McDonald’s publishes pictures of countries that will open for sale has made many people admire. Netizens think it looks like the group’s tour schedule.
