The popularity of “In the Soop: Friendcation”, which features the famous “Wooga” squad, is spreading all across Asia 

According to streaming platform Disney+ on August 10th, the reality show “In the Soop: Friendcation”, is seeing immense reception in the entire Asia region, topping the charts in nations like Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan.

First of all, in Taiwan, more than 33,000 huge reactions poured out among major influencers related to Korean content, including the fanpage of BTS V, BTS V’s team, and more, showing huge impact. In addition, the media and major magazines also added to the hype by constantly releasing related articles and SNS content.

In Indonesia, a large ad balloon could be spotted flying over Jakarta, creating a unique spectacle, while a watch party was held on Twitter along with Disney+ Indonesia’s official channel, attracting the participation of numerous viewers. 

Malaysia is also filled with media articles and large outdoor advertisements, billboards, as well as online ads.

“In the Soop: Friendcation” is a spin-off of “In the Soop”, which features artists enjoying leisure time and healing in the forest, taking a break from their breathless lives on the colorful stage. The program captures simple travel stories of respective artists, and boasts their close relationships with each other. The final episode of “In the Soop: Friendcation” is scheduled to be released on August 12th.
