BTS members expressed their thought on the group’s failure to win the ’64th Grammy Awards’.
BTS was asked about the failure to win the Grammy at a press conference held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 9th (local time), where “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE THE CITY – LAS VEGAS” would be held.
Jimin said, “I was very sad because I didn’t receive the award last year,” he said. “As Koreans, I wondered how far our music could reach, so I think I was expecting a Grammy award. Also, I think I wanted to receive an award because I thought it would be a great reward to the ARMYs who supported us. It’s unfortunate,” he said. Another member, V, said, “It was neat, though. All the members acknowledged it.” He made everyone burst into laughter by adding, “But I still shed tears. Since it’s unbearable.”
J-Hope said, “As another artist’s name was called, the thoughts ‘We definitely wanted to receive this award’ came rushing in.” Jin said, “Isn’t this the only opportunity? I can take on a new challenge at any time, so I will work hard in the future.”
