ADOR has spoken up about rumors regarding the appearance of BTS V and Jung Ho Yeon in NewJeans’ new MV.
Recently, speculations arose online that BTS V and Jung Ho Yeon will appear in the MV for NewJeans‘ upcoming song, “Cool With You”. In response to this, the agency of NewJeans, ADOR, stated to Xsports News on July 19th that they cannot confirm anything.
Previously on July 17th, ADOR announced that they will release the MV for NewJeans’ title track “Cool With You” on the YouTube channel HYBE LABELS on the 20th at 0:00 (KST). They also explained, “The ‘Cool With You’ MV was produced in two versions, Side A and Side B. Two surprising and unexpected global stars will also be appearing.”
Subsequently, rumors started to emerge online. In particular, there were accounts claiming that NewJeans and BTS V visited a restaurant in Madrid, Spain, for three consecutive days.
Moreover, Jung Ho Yeon was also spotted filming for a Kpop MV in Spain, which coincides with a private schedule of BTS V in the same nation. As a result, people started to speculate that Jung Ho Yeon also participated in the shooting of NewJeans’ music video.
In response to this, netizens are speculating that the “global stars” mentioned by ADOR could be V and Jung Ho Yeon.
Meanwhile, NewJeans will release their 2nd mini album, “Get Up”, on July 21st. The album includes six songs, including triple title tracks “Super Shy,” “ETA,” and “Cool With You.”
