BTS, TXT, Seventeen, and ENHYPEN, HYBE artists entering TOP 10 albums in the US

HYBE Labels artists showed off their powerful HYBE power in the US record market.

According to the “2022 Annual Half-Year Report” recently released by Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), the top 10 albums in the U.S. (based on single album physical CDs) in the first half of this year were listed, including BTS, Seventeen, TXT, and ENHYPEN.

BTS was named the most-selling artist in the first half of this year, not only in Korea but also in the United States. BTS’ latest album Proof, released last month, topped the list with 328,000 copies.

Tomorrow X TOGETHER’s fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” released in May ranked third with 150,000 sales. The album has been charted on the U.S. Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200” for eight consecutive weeks, continuing its longest chart-in record on “Billboard 200” among K-pop group albums released this year.

SEVENTEEN ranked 8th with their 4th studio album ‘Face the Sun’. The album was also selected as the “2022 Best K-pop Song and Album” by TIME, confirming that Seventeen is drawing attention in the U.S. market.

In addition, ENHYPEN’s first full-length repackage album “DIMENSION: ANSWER” ranked 10th. In particular, ENHYPEN proved the name value of the “Global K-Pop Rising Star” by entering Luminate’s top 10 album sales in the first half of the U.S.

From BTS to ENHYPEN, attention is growing on the steps HYBE label artists will show in the second half of the year.
