BTS Suga canceled the postponement of his enlistment.
On the afternoon of August 7th, BTS‘ agency Big Hit Music announced their official position on Suga’s military enlistment and future plans through the global fan platform Weverse.
Big Hit Music (hereinafter referred to as Big Hit) said, “We would like to inform our fans that Suga has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement.“
Big Hit continued, “We will inform you of further updates in due course.“
They added, “We ask you for your continued love and support for Suga until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist.”
Suga will be the third BTS member to fulfill his military duty after Jin and J-Hope, who previously enlisted and are currently fulfilling their military service.
Meanwhile, after the encore concert held at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul on August 6th, Suga wrapped up the long journey of the world tour “SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY'”, which had been going on since April.
