BTS RM’s effect? “The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge” starts off well with a high viewer rating in its first broadcast

“The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge” achieved a real-time viewer rating peak of 5.9% in episode 1.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of the entertainment program “The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge”, which aired on December 2nd, recorded a nationwide rating of 3.5% (real-time peak 4.8%) and 4.2% in Seoul area (peak 5.9%).

Prior to the first broadcast, “The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge”  drew attention by heralding a pleasant intellectual chat between experts from various fields, including film director Jang Hang Joon, BTS RM (Kim Nam Joon), novelist Kim Young Ha, physicist Kim Sang Wook, forensic scientist Lee Ho, and astronomer Shim Chae Kyung. 

The first topic of their talk was “the person whom I want to be if I were the main character of a movie”. In this regard, RM said, “I want to be a three-dimensional character”. He then continued the discussion by sharing various ideas with the cast members.

The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge

The second episode, which is scheduled to air on December 9th, will continue to tell the human story that Professor Lee Ho has not finished and unveil the talk about humans and love under the theme “What kind of person we will love?”. 

Meanwhile, tvN’s “The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge” airs every Friday at 8:40 p.m.
