Boy group BTS secures their 1st place in the singer brand reputation ranking of November 2022.
From October 26th to November 25th, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 125,687,058 big data of singer brands as well as elements like consumers’ brand participation, media, communication, and community.
The singer brand reputation index extracts big data of Korean singers that are releasing music loved by consumers, then analyzes consumer behavior, classifies them into participation value, communication value, media value, and community value. It also analyzes the positive-negative ratio and reputation analysis algorithm, basically revealing who, where, how, how much, and why they are talking about a brand.
From the 1st to 30th place, the brand reputation ranking of November 2022 is BTS, Lim Young Woong, BLACKPINK, Lee Chan Won, NewJeans, Cho Yong Pil, IU, (G)I-DLE, Kim Ho Koong, Young Tak, Jeong Dong Won, SEVENTEEN, Kang Daniel, Younha, LE SSERAFIM, Song Ga In, Jannabi, Jang Min Ho, Park Jin Young, Lee Young Ji, IVE, TWICE, Taeyeon, Park Chang Gun, Oh My Girl, Psy, Girls’ Generation (SNSD), Jukjae, Noeul, and EXO, respectively.
Regarding the top ranker BTS, Koo Chang Hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “As a result of analyzing the brand reputation of singers in November 2022, BTS (RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) ranked first. Compared to last October’s 150,135,853 big data, there is a decrease of 16.28%. Looking at the detailed analysis, brand consumption decreased by 14.93%, brand issues decreased by 22.88%, brand communication decreased by 13.45%, and brand expansion decreased by 10.28% year-on-year.”
He also added, “BTS took first place with Jungkook’s performance, which showed a strong impact at the World Cup. Meanwhile, Lim Young Woong created active communication with fans through the release of new songs and placed second, whilst BLACKPINK came in 3rd due to their well-loved global world tour.”
