BTS missing from Top 10 most viewed Kpop MVs in YouTube Korea?

According to YouTube, BTS did not make it to the Top 10 of most viewed Kpop music videos within South Korea. 

With data compiled from January 1st to October 10th of 2022, YouTube has revealed the Top 10 most watched Kpop MVs by South Korean users. These only include MVs that was published on YouTube in the year 2022.

On the top of the list is trot singer Lim Young Woong, who is enjoying huge popularity from the Korean audiences. In fact, he has 3 songs in the Top 10, including  “If We Ever Meet Again” (1st), “Our Blues, Our Life” (5th), and “Rainbow” (10th).

In the 2nd position is PSY’s “That That”, ft. BTS Suga, followed by BIGBANG’s long-awaited comeback with “Still Life”.

IVE is another artist with more than 2 MVs that made it to the list, with “After LIKE” and “LOVE DIVE” making it to the Top 10.

Finally, BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom”, (G)I-DLE’s “TOMBOY”, and GOT the beat’s “Step Back” accounted for the remaining positions, and BTS as a group was completely absent.
