World-famous idol group BTS showed off their appearance in hanbok ahead of Korea’s national holiday – Chuseok.
On September 3rd, BTS’s agency HYPE released photos of BTS wearing hanbok on their official Twitter account to commemorate the Chuseok holiday.
BTS members dressed in beautiful hanboks and revealed their beauty reminiscent of handsome scholars from the Joseon Dynasty.
Sitting near a lake under the dark night sky, BTS displayed their painting-like visuals with a traditional Korean vibe. The members stood under a tree or sat around the lake and did natural poses, such as placing their hands on their knees. Staring into the empty space and looking at the camera with dreamy eyes, the members gave off a lingering impression.
BTS, the boy group that caused a craze around the world, is expected to promote hanbok, Korea’s traditional costume, to global fans through this photoshoot. In particular, it is expected to overshadow China’s hanbok cultural appropriation process.
