Jungkook’s ‘Stay Alive’ (Prod. SUGA of BTS)’ is a massive hit on Spotify.
Jungkook‘s ‘Stay Alive’, solo track and OST for webtoon ‘7FATES: CHAKHO’, released on February 11, has surpassed 90 million streams, making it the No.1 streamed K-pop song that came out this year on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.
‘Stay Alive’ has earned 90,168,515 streams in total on Spotify as of the 73rd day of its release, which is the shortest time for a Korean OST & song by a Korean solo act to achieve this record.
‘Stay Alive’ has been released for over two months, but its popularity is still going strong, as shown through the stream count that rose 764,550 in just a day.
‘Stay Alive’ recorded more than 80 million streams on Spotify in 57 days. Although it is only an OST for a Korean webtoon, it showed an impressive increase by 10 million streams within just two weeks.
As of April 26 (Korean time), Jungkook’s ‘Stay Alive’ also held the record for the biggest debut by a K-pop song released in 2022 on Spotify with 5.62 million streams.
‘Stay Alive’ reached 13.6 million cumulative streams in just 3 days, the shortest time for a Korean solo song and OST, and recorded the most weekly cumulative streams of a song by a Korean solo act with over 24.8 million in 7 days.
‘Stay Alive’ is a webtoon original soundtrack without any promotions, but with Jungkook and Suga’s global impact, it became the song by a Korean male soloist and Korean OST that reached multiple big milestones in the shortest time ever, specifically 30 million in 10 days, 40 million in 16 days, 50 million in 23 days, 60 million in 32 days, 70 million in 43 days, and 80 million in 57 days.
