BTS Jungkook’s hashtag #jungkook becomes the first individual hashtag to surpass 100 billion views on Tiktok
BTS’s Jungkook continues to show off his popularity as he bags more records.
On February 5th last year, Jungkook achieved 33 billion views on TikTok with hashtag #jungkook. And then on February 18th this year, after about a year, the hashtag achieved 102.5 billion mark, with a huge increase of 69.5 billion views.
Tiktok has surpassed Google, the world’s largest search engine, to become the Most Viewed Site of 2021 in popularity and usage. Without having an official account on this platform, Jungkook has surpassed 100 Billion views and owns the Most Viewed Individual hashtag.
As of February 18th, #jungkook reached 102.5 billion views, other Jungkook-related hashtags recorded are #jk with 35.9 billion views, #jeonjungkook with 13.7 billion views, #jungkookie with 2.6 billion views, #btsjungkook with 2.3 billion views, etc.
The total views of Jungkook’s five hashtags alone reached 157 billion views.
Meanwhile, Jungkook ranked first in the world’s largest search engine Google for the most searched K-pop idols for five consecutive years, 1st place for the most searched K-pop idols on YouTube for 5 consecutive years from 2016 to 2020, 1st place in YouTube ‘most searched’ K-pop male idol in 2021, 1st in ‘Korea’s most retweeted person’ on Twitter in 2017 and 2018, 1st and 2nd in ‘World’s most retweeted Tweet’ in 2019 and 2020, Pinterest Most Searched K-Pop Idol in the US, UK and Canada, 1st K-Pop Star on Tumblr for 3 consecutive years (2018-2020). With these titles, Jungkook is indeed ruling on various social media.
