BTS Jungkook’s flawless high note and falsetto in the “Carpool Karaoke” video are re-examined

BTS member Jungkook drew admiration with his impressive singing ability.

The U.S. media outlet Mashable recently re-examined “The 10 best ‘Carpool Karaoke’ episodes of all time”.

Among the celebrities guests on 1200 episodes of CBS’s famous talk show “The Late Late Show with James Corden” over the past 8 years, Mashable picked BTS, Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Martin, Ariana Grande, etc. on the list.

BTS joined “Carpool Karaoke” in 2020 and sang a medley of various hits, including their own songs “Mic Drop”, “Black Swan”, “ON” as well as Bruno Mars and Cardi B’s “Finesse”, Post Malone’s “Circles”, etc.

Mashable said, “Jungkook’s flawless falsetto in ‘ON’”, praising Jungkook’s unrivaled singing skills.

At that time, Jungkook drew attention as he perfectly sang the super high note of the bridge part in “ON”. Jungkook surprised everyone by presenting an amazing live performance and explosive high notes without shaking even when sitting in a moving car. 

After the broadcast, host James Corden tweeted on the official Twitter account of ‘The Late Late Show’ complimenting Jungkook, saying “jungkook vocals on that solo tho,” referring to Jungkook’s impressive high-pitched adlibs and the way he smoothly performed “Finesse.”
