BTS Jungkook unveils his diet method? 20-hour fasting and 4-hour eating

Jungkook of BTS recently appeared on Suga’s web show and unveils his dieting secret. 

On July 29th, a video titled “Suchwita: EP.15 SUGA with Jungkook” was published on BTS’ YouTube channel, “BANGTANTV”, featuring BTS Suga and Jungkook as a guest.

Here, BTS Jungkook unveils his diet method, surprising Suga.

In particular, the released video shows Suga asking Jungkook, “I heard you’re doing intermittent fasting these days?” 

Hearing this, Jungkook answered, “Yes, apparently it’s good for your health. I was looking up info on diets and learned everything there is to know about intermittent fasting. I thought it’d be good for me.”

In response, Suga asked if Jungkook is doing 16-hour fasting and 8-hour eating, to which Jungkook revealed, “I do it 20:4”. However, when Suga mentioned that such a diet must be tough, Jungkook added, “I don’t do it obsessively. It’s less stressful if you just think of it as eating one or two meals a day.”

Moreover, Jungkook also mentioned that he started intermittent fasting before a jacket shoot in the US and as preparation for his comeback with “Seven”, which was released on July 14th.

Meanwhile, intermittent fasting is a type of diet where one will eat only within a specific frame of time during the day and consume nothing but water for the remaining hours. Jungkook’s 20:4 method means that he will only eat for 4 hours in a day. 

On the other hand, as of July 29th, Jungkook’s solo single “Seven” achieved first place on the latest update of Billboard’s main singles chart “Hot 100”.
