BTS Jungkook to perform solo song “Seven” for the first time at 2023 Summer Concert Series 

BTS Jungkook will commence his solo career in the U.S. in earnest. 

On July 7, ABC’s Good Morning America announced Jungkook would appear as part of the final lineup of the 2023 Summer Concert Series held at Central Park in New York on July 14. 

The Summer Concert Series is an annual summer music concert hosted by Good Morning America. BTS Jungkook will be the first K-pop soloist to perform at the event and the third overall K-pop act after his own group BTS in 2019 and 2021 and aespa in 2022. BTS also headlined the event in 2019.

In this solo appearance, Jungkook will unveil his first solo single “Seven” at the concert. Prior to his performance at the event, the singer is releasing various pre-promotional contents. 

On HYBE Labels’ official channel and the fan communication platform Weverse, BTS released Jungkook’s campaign behind-the-scenes film on July 8. A recording film preview will be released on July 11, and the MV will be officially released on July 14 at 1 PM (KST). 

At the time, Jungkook’s self-composed song “Still With You” is being resurrected. The song topped the iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 83 regions and countries, as of July 4. It was a track released by Jungkook on Soundcloud ahead of BTS’ 7th debut anniversary in 2020.
