According to Ten Asia on Jan 16th, Jungkook and Jimin will be deployed to the Army’s 5th Infantry Division on Jan 18th. The 5th Infantry Division is located in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi, where Jin is currently serving as an assistant instructor in the recruit training center. Accordingly, Jungkook and Jimin will undergo military service within the same division as Jin, although their specific assignments may vary depending on the deployment.
Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together on Dec 12th last year. Both recently completed basic military training after entering the 5th Infantry Division’s recruit training center.
Currently, all members of BTS are fulfilling their military duties. Jin began his military service in December 2022 and is expected to be discharged in June this year. J-Hope enlisted in April last year, while Suga is currently serving as a public service worker. RM and V entered Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province on Dec 11th last year and completed their basic training recently. BTS plans to resume activities as a full group in 2025.
