BTS Jin proves his global popularity by achieving more than 1.1 billion streams on the world’s largest music platform Spotify.
As of June 23rd, Jin surpassed 1.1 billion streams on Spotify with 9 songs. Jin, who started composing and writing songs in 2014, has a total of 9 songs, including 3 b-side tracks in BTS albums, 5 solo songs and one drama OST sung with V, be credited under his name.
On the 23rd, the streaming records of Jin’s solo songs in BTS’s albums were 239.4 million for “Epiphany” (“Love Yourself 結 Answer”), 184.66 million for “Moon” (“Map of the Soul:7”), and 120.97 million for “Awake” (“Wings”).
His most recent release “The Astronaut” has also been streamed more than 185.67 million times. In addition, the OST “Yours” he sang for the drama “Jirisan” has also exceeded 139.68 million streams. Adding the streams of the three newly registered songs, “Super Tuna”, which was released last year, “Abyss” and “Tonight” as well as the OST “It’s definitely you”, Jin has earned more than 1.144 billion streams in total.

On June 21st, Jin also claimed top spot in the “Korean Celebrity Instagram Average Engagement Rate Ranking” announced by StarNgage. He recorded an overwhelming engagement rate of 26.62% on Instagram.
Earlier in the first half of 2023, Jin ranked 2nd among “most influential music influencers in the US” and was the first Asian on the list. Apart from No.2 Jin, No.1 went to Justin Beiber while No.3 to No.5 were achieved by Zayn Malik, Shawn Mendes, and Harry Styles.
Even during his break to fulfill military service as an exemplary army assistant, Jin is still shining brightly as a superstar by achieving new records and topping fan-voting charts.
