BTS Jin celebrated the group’s 10th debut anniversary in the army.
On June 13, BTS Jin uploaded a long post on the fan communication app Weverse. He started by saying, “Thanks to our ARMYs, we are celebrating our 10th anniversary. There is a saying that even mountains and rivers change in 10 years, but it’s amazing that BTS and ARMY’s love doesn’t change”, adding, “I also want to give you something for the contents of the 10th anniversary. I should have filmed more content before enlisting. I don’t know how to express my apologies”.
Jin then said, “I know that the remaining members are working hard on the 10th-anniversary contents”. In addition, he said, “With 365 days left in the military and a year left, I will go to the company and visit you through Weverse Live, not going home as soon as I am discharged from the military [to celebrate for the 11th anniversary]”.
On December 13 last year, Jin enlisted as a recruit training center of the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
Coincidentally, the scheduled discharge date for Jin is June 13, 2024, BTS’ 11th anniversary. He ended by saying, “Thank you so much for being with us for our 10th anniversary, and we hope you will stay with us”.
After BTS Jin and J-hope joined the military, other members have been pursuing their solo careers. In celebration of BTS’ 10th anniversary, BTS released the anniversary single “Take Two” sung by the whole group. The main event of “2023 BTS FESTA” will be held virtually and in person on June 17.
