BTS Jimin revealed an anecdote related to his wrist tattoo.
On Jan 17th, Jimin‘s MD introduction video was posted on BTS‘ official V-Live channel. HYBE is recently introducing “ARTIST-MADE COLLECTION BY BTS”, which produces goods that reflect BTS’ tastes.
Jimin’s items were a hoodie and earrings. Jimin shared, “Earrings are something I wear a lot, and I thought it would be nice if I could make a hoodie and wear it with ARMY (BTS’ fandom name).” He added, “I hope there’s something special that only ARMY and BTS could know.” In particular, regarding the tattoo “13” on his wrist, the male idol said, “The members teased me a lot. They said it looks like I received a stamp for competing in a race. They were like ‘Did you come 13th?’ or ‘Do you get that if you do 13 pushups?'”
Jimin is known to like the number 13. Not only did BTS debut on June 13, 2013, but Jimin’s birthday is also on October 13. Meanwhile, BTS is on an official long-term vacation. After the long vacation, the group will focus on releasing a new album and preparing for concerts. An offline concert in Seoul is also scheduled for March.
