BTS Jimin becomes the first K-pop solo artist to top Billboard Hot 100

“Like Crazy” by BTS Jimin debuts atop Billboard Hot 100.

BTS Jimin has gained various achievements on domestic and global music charts since the release of his debut song “Like Crazy.” After 2 weeks, BTS Jimin has made it to the top of Billboard Hot 100, proving his influence in the U.S. market.

According to the newest chart annoucement by Billboard Hot 100, Jimin’s title track remarkably surpassed “Flowers” by the U.S. pop star Miley Cyrus and took the lead. Jimin is the second Korean act to take first place in the U.S. music ranking chart, following his group, BTS. He is also the first ever K-pop soloist, in history, to debut at the top of Billboard Hot 100.

“Like Crazy” debuts at #1 on Billboard Hot 100

Fans are celebrating Jimin’s success over various social media sites. The new achievement, once again, shows the strong influence of BTS, as a group, and Jimin, as a soloist, on the global audience.
