Fans of BTS j-hope hope to own a physical copy of his album, but this seems like a far-fetch wish
Recently, Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS, announced that BTS member j-hope will be releasing the digital single “On The Street” at 2PM (KST) on March 3rd. Since this is an extremely sudden announcement, many fans suspect that this will be j-hope’s final release prior to his military enlistment.
While excited for “On The Street”, some ARMYs (fans of BTS), expressed their disappointment that there will only be a digital version for this single. According to them, if j-hope is truly planning to enlist after the song, it’d take over a year for fans to see him and enjoy his new music again. Therefore, they also want to own a physical copy, especially when j-hope’s previous album, “Jack in the Box”, only has a Weverse version with no CD or photobook, and a limited vinyl version with extremely limited quantity.
As a result, many netizens believe that it’s prime time for Big Hit Music to sell a physical version of j-hope’s new solo release. Some even said that they’d want a normal physical album for “Jack in the Box” as well.
Below are some comments from netizens:
- Please release a physical CD and photo book for “Jack in the Box”, it’s not too late
- Why can’t they sell the physical version for j-hope’s album?
- A digital single? I’m glad, but I wish to own a physical CD of j-hope prior to his enlistment
- Would there be any promotional stages? I would be extremely mad if not.
- If Jin released a physical version, why can’t they do the same for j-hope?
