BTS, BLACKPINK, and Lim Young-woong Dominate Top 3 Of October Brand Reputation Ranking

Boy group BTS topped The Brand Reputation Ranking For Korean Singers in October

The Korean Brand Reputation Research Insitute analyzed 110,854,377 big data of singer brands from September 21st, 2023 to October 21st, 2023 according to consumers’ brand participation, media, communication and community.

According to the result, BTS brand ranked 1st with a total brand reputation score of 7,556,687 with a participation index of 539,145, a media index of 1,623,678, a communication index of 2,604,815 and a community index of 2,789,049. Compared to the BTS brand’s reputation result in September, it went up by 39.11%.

No.2 BLACKPINK brand achieved a brand reputation score of 7,408,485. The analysis of this brand showed a participation index of 951,159, a media index of 1,947,360, a communication index of 2,171,924, and a community index of 2,338,053. Compared to the brand reputation ranking in September, the BLACKPINK brand witnessed a significant increase of 116.85%.

Lim Young-woong brand placed third with a total brand reputation score of 7,259,957, which includes a participation index of 2,257,190, a media index of 2,383,148, a communication index of 1,360,660 and a community index of 1,249,959. Lim Young-woong also increased slightly by 3.05% compared to last month.

Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korean Brand Reputation Research Insitute said, “Leading the global Korean Wave, BTS ranked first place. BLACKPINK, the group that has built a huge fandom with their outstanding charms and skills, came in second place. Lim Young-woong, who spreads good influence with his expanding fandom, took third place. No.4 went to NewJeans, which is known as a new icon, and IVE, the girl group that has taken various challenges, ranked No.5”.
