BTS and BLACKPINK dominate the TOP30 most searched KPOP idols on Google

In the rankings of the 30 most searched K-pop idols on Google in 2021, only one celebrity who is not from BTS or BLACKPINK made into the Top 10.

According to data collected from January 1, 2021 to December 2, 2021 by Google Trends, the list of the 30 most searched K-pop idols on Google in 2021 was recently announced.

Notably, IU is the only solo star on the list and also the only singer not from BTS and BLACKPINK to make the Top 10. Also, the only member of BLACKPINK out of the Top 10 is Jisoo and BTS J-Hope.

This ranking is not surprising to netizens because BTS and BLACKPINK are not only Korean singers, but also world stars. Meanwhile, IU, with more than 10 years of working in the industry, has a large fan base in Korea and Asia thanks to her clear voice, beautiful appearance and great personality. In addition, the idol has achieved great success in the film industry. Currently, IU is also one of the richest female celebrities in K-pop.
