“Brave Citizen” Shin Hye-sun X Lee Jun-young changed their parents’ cars with their earnings

Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jun-young talked about the movie “Brave Citizen” on “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show”

On the October 25th broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show”, actors Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jun-young, who star in the movie “Brave Citizen”, appeared as guests.

Park Myung-soo and Shin Hye-sun reunited after their previous encounter on “Happy Together”. Shin Hye-sun mentioned that she learned boxing only to the extent required for action scenes. When Park Myung-soo inquired about her actual fighting skills, she replied, “I’ve never done it before, so I don’t know if I’m good at it.”

Lee Jun-young takes on a villainous role once again in “Brave Citizen” following “Mask Girl”. Shin Hye-sun said, “Lee Jun-young is a true ‘Brave Citizen’. He actually helped the police catch a drunk driver out of a sense of justice. He’s someone who is on fire with a sense of justice. He’s an extremely just friend, but his role in ‘Brave Citizen’ is quite the opposite, so it must have been challenging.”

Regarding his appearance fee, Lee Jun-young smilingly shared, “‘My appearance fee is the cheapest today’ is what my agency’s CEO told me. I think (the CEO) might have been influenced by senior Park Myung-soo.” Shin Hye-sun playfully added that if “Brave Citizen” garners over 1 million viewers, she would dance. She mentioned her willingness to dance in any style, be it Korean traditional dance or any other form.

Lee Jun-young revealed that the first thing he did with his earnings was to change his parents’ car. He mentioned that his mother teared up upon seeing him in a villainous role. Shin Hye-sun also remembered changing her parents’ car with her earnings. She recalled that her parents watched the movie before its release, with her father being more objective and her mother being a staunch supporter.

“Brave Citizen” (directed by Park Jin-pyo) is a film about fixed-term teacher So Si-min (Shin Hye-sun), who pretends to not see injustice and has a bad temper, facing the evil deeds of Han Soo-gang (Lee Jun-young), a power who crosses the line.
