Boy Group Formed Through Survival Show ‘To Be World Klass’ Disbands after 3 Years

On Dec 17th, Wake One Entertainment officially announced through TO1’s fan cafe, “After a long period of in-depth discussions and contemplation, our agency and artist TO1 have mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contract as of December 31, 2023.”

They continued, “We sincerely apologize and express our gratitude to all the fans who have loved and cherished TO1. Please also watch and support the future activities of the members on their new paths. We, too, will genuinely support the future of TO1 members.”

TO1 was formed through Mnet’s survival show ‘To Be World Klass,’ which was broadcasted in December 2019. The group officially debuted in 2020. In September of this year, member Renta left the group.

Formerly known as TOO, the group’s name was later changed to TO1. And now, they ultimately decided to disband.

Wake One’s full official statement is as follows:

“Hello. This is Wake One.

First of all, we sincerely thank all the fans who have loved and supported TO1.

After a long period of in-depth discussions and contemplation, the members of our agency and TO1, Donggeon, Chan, Jisu, Jaeyoon, J.You, Kyungho, Daigo, and Yeojeong, have mutually agreed to terminate their exclusive contract with the agency as of December 31, 2023.

We sincerely apologize and express our gratitude to all the fans who have loved and cherished TO1. Please also watch and support the future activities of the members on their new paths. We, too, will genuinely support the future of TO1 members.

Once again, we thank all the fans who have supported TO1 throughout this time.”
