On January 18th, the YouTube channel “uhmg studio” uploaded episode 23 of “Jaefriends” under the title “Acting cute, crying…It’s our first time to meet!”. In the video, SISTAR19’s Hyolyn and Bora appeared as guests and met Kim Jae-joong.
Kim Jae-joong said, “As a listener, my favorite song was ‘Ma Boy’, also ‘I swear’. I loved those songs so much. You have so many hit songs. Did you perform at events all year round or did you do it based on seasons?”. In response, Hyolyn said, “Almost all year round”. Bora added, “When we were done with music shows, we moved on to events immediately, then prepared for the next album, did music shows and events. It was nonstop”.
Hyolyn and Bora shared, “The most we did was three to four events a day. We’d go somewhere really far from Seoul and on our way back, we’d be here and there. College events are usually held in the evening, so we’d have four consecutive events in Seoul.”
Hyolyn said, “We performed at a lot of events”. Kim Jae-joong commented, “You could say you got STARSHIP up and running. I ask this question to every artist I meet. How much contribution do you think you made for STARSHIP’s success?”.
Bora replied, “The new building? When we started, it was a one-story building. The practice studio was smaller than here. It was just a story office of a flat. It kept growing one story by one and we ended up in a huge building”.
Hearing that, Kim Jae-joong exclaimed, “You guys did build a building for them”. Bora added, “I hope it was thanks to us”.
