Recently, BLACKPINK’s Lisa officially revealed her comeback happening this August. The new song, titled “New Woman,” is a collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalía. “New Woman” is set to be released at 8 PM on August 15 (KST).
In the teaser poster, Lisa surprises with a bold, curly hairstyle, while Rosalía sits beside her in a large fur coat. Both are wearing sunglasses, adding a mysterious vibe. It’s no surprise that the teaser photo caused quite a stir on social media as soon as it was released.
One of the special “hardcore fans” who quickly liked her photo was none other than her rumored boyfriend, Frédéric Arnault. In fact, Lisa had barely posted the photo for a minute when Frédéric interacted with it.
Since July 2023, rumors of Frédéric Arnault dating Lisa have been circulating. It turns out that the capital letters N and W in “braNd neW día” stand for “New Woman.”
Lisa’s swift return even led to jokes that her release speed is faster than BLACKPINK’s. After all, BLACKPINK has released about 40 songs over their seven-year career, typically only having one comeback per year at most.
